Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is located 6.2 miles (10 km) from the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey should take less than 30 minutes.
Various transportation options are available at the airport, including shuttles, ride-sharing companies, taxi cabs and public transportation.
Should you need assistance with any option, look for a Ground Transportation booth (located in each terminal on the Lower Level.) These information booths are staffed by customer service coordinators during peak operating hours.

- Tri-Rail
Tri-Rail, which is run by the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority (SFRTA), is a commuter rail line linking Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The 70.9-mile-long system has 18 stations along the Southeast Florida coast. The system connects directly to Amtrak at numerous stations and the Metrorail in Hialeah (Miami) at the Tri-Rail and Metrorail Transfer Station.
