The Harvey M. Pollicove Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a degree in the field of precision optics manufacturing. Students at universities in the US are eligible to apply. 

Established in 2005, this program honors the work of Harvey Pollicove and was made possible by the generous contributions to the H.M. Pollicove Memorial Fund by Harvey’s friends and colleagues.

Applicant Requirements
  • Be accepted or enrolled in a precision optics program/curriculm in the United States.
  • Intend to work in the optics manufacturing industry upon graduation.
  • Agree to complete and submit a scholarship report if selected.
Application Requirements
  1. In 500 words or less, describe your passion for the process of designing, fabricating and assembling optical components and systems.
  2. In 250 words or less, identify the impact receiving this grant would have on your research.
  3. GPA certification (Unofficial Transcript)
  4. Resume/CV
  5. One Reference Letter
