AGORA
AGORA is an interactive forum sponsored by the L'OREAL-UNESCO for Women in Science program.  AGORA is open to all members of the For Women in Science community around the world and is accessible to the public.

American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)
AAAS is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional association. In addition to organizing membership activities, AAAS publishes the journal Science, as well as many scientific newsletters, books and reports, and spearheads programs that raise the bar of understanding for science worldwide.

American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES)
AISES is a national, nonprofit organization which nurtures the building of community by bridging science and technology with traditional Native values. Through its educational programs, AISES provides opportunities for American Indians and Native Alaskans to pursue studies in science, engineering, and technology arenas. The trained professionals then become technologically informed leaders within the Indian community. AISES' ultimate goal is to be a catalyst for the advancement of American Indians and Native Alaskans as they seek to become self-reliant and self-determined members of society.

Association for Women in Science (AWIS)
The Association for Women in Science is dedicated to achieving equity and full participation for women in science, mathematics, engineering and technology.

Institute for Women in Trades, Technology and Science (IWITTS)
IWITTS provides the tools to successfully integrate women into male-dominated careers -- such as technology and law enforcement -- via training, publications, products, e-strategies, and research projects.

International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists  (INWES)
The INWES Web site was created to share information, knowledge, and ideas that can provide a significant voice, for women around the world. The organization deals with mainstream science and engineering on issues such as the environment, sustainable development, gender equity, and many other critical issues.

Minority Scientists Network
The Minority Scientists Network is a collaborative effort involving the Science Careers Web site and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The site features articles targeted toward women and underserved populations.

National Coalition of Girls’ Schools (NCGS)
NCGS is an association of girls' independent and public, day and boarding schools across the United States, with affiliate partners in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

National Society of Black Physicists (NSBP)
The purpose and mission of the NSBP is to promote the professional well-being of African American physicists within the international scientific community and within society at large. The organization seeks to develop and support efforts to increase opportunities for African Americans in physics and to increase their numbers and visibility of their scientific work. It also seeks to develop activities and programs that highlight and enhance the benefits of the scientific contributions that African American physicists provide for the international community. The society seeks to raise the general knowledge and appreciation of physics in the African American community.

National Society of Hispanic Physicists (NSHP)
The purpose of NSHP is to promote the professional well-being and recognize the accomplishments of Hispanic physicists within the scientific community of the United States and within society at large.  The Society seeks to develop and support efforts to increase opportunities for Hispanics in physics and to increase the number of practicing Hispanic physicists, particularly by encouraging Hispanic students to enter a career in physics.

Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS)
The mission of (SACNAS) is to encourage Chicano/Latino and Native American students to pursue graduate education and obtain the advanced degrees necessary for science research, leadership, and teaching careers at all levels.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
SHPE is the leading social-technical organization whose primary function is to enhance and achieve the potential of Hispanics in engineering, math and science.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
SWE is a non-profit educational service organization dedicated to making known the need for women engineers and encouraging young women to consider an engineering education.

This Week in Science Podcast
This Week in Science is a fun weekly science and technology news show hosted by Kirsten Sanford and Justin Jackson. TWIS regularly interviews top scientists, technologists, and luminaries.
