OSA Foundation Education Grants

The OSA Foundation believes that all students should have access to quality educational resources and that everyone deserves to be encouraged to explore scientific studies and career paths.

The OSA Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to supporting programs that:

-Advance youth science education
-Support optics and photonics students in developing countries
-Provide education and resources to underserved populations

The Discovery Fund for Young Students & Teachers is one of the Foundation’s key activities. This fund supports interactive classroom and extracurricular activities that provide children with access to science educators and learning materials that spark an interest in science learning. Special emphasis is given to programs benefiting underserved communities.
