Short Courses

These courses are held in concert with OSA conferences and select technical meetings. The curriculum covers a variety of specialties at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels. Some courses are offered in a traditional lecture format, and others offer students the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations. Each session is taught by a topic expert. Attendees qualify for Continuing Education Units (CEU) upon course completion.

Short Courses are offered during OFC/NFOEC, CLEO/QELS, the OSA Annual Meeting “Frontiers in Optics”, and are also held during some technical meetings. Visit the OSA meeting and conference calendar for meeting and course details.
